About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have recently moved to Albuquerque to commit myself to earning a double bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Art at UNM and have another couple years until completion. I am focused on photography in my art practice for now and I love everything I've learned in linguistics so far and I hope to be involved in language revitalization someday. I am slowly getting to know Albuquerque and all of its weirdness, but I always have an adventure plan brewing in the back of my mind.

ABOUT ME

I been lucky to have made traveling a priority for the last 10 years or so; it is a big part of who I am and I'm very grateful for every place and person I've come across in the world. I have worked on many homesteads and organic farming operations over the years and eating good, spray-free, local food (as much as possible) is one of my top priorities in life. I completed an apprenticeship in earthbuilding with the Cob Cottage Company in 2012 and have helped build some mud houses.

PHILOSOPHY

If you want to sing out, sing out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have WWOOFed around the world- some places were WWOOF and couchsurfing hosts and I find it's the most rewarding way to explore new lands. I had an awesome time hosting an Australian couchsurfer, and have had a couple of great hosts. Unfortunately I have been very transient and unable to host very much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been nerding out about phonetics lately and can talk about it a lot among other things like food growing and traveling! I would love to learn about how things are expressed in other languages and practice my Spanish.
