About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To reinvent myself and become the person I want to be

ABOUT ME

I currently live and work as a designer/digital creative in London. Working in a big, busy city has really made me realise how much I need to travel regularly to get away from the rush, worries and stress of day to day life.

PHILOSOPHY

Would you rather be a snail, who was blissfully happy but ignorant OR an unhappy, yet intelligent human being?

To "teleport" your body's mass would have to be destroyed and rematerialised in another place. The person who stepped out of the other side would believe that they were you, however they would in fact be an identical copy of you. But then how can you say that an identical copy with you're exact same structure and memories isn't you? Where does a soul come into this?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people in the past back when we had a spare room at uni, however at present I live in a small flat in London, so we don't really have the space. I plan to use meetups when travelling, because I know that aside from the actual couchsurfing side of things the CS community is a very friendly and like minded bunch, who you can rely on to offer any help or information they can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people, as I have said. I haven't actually couchsurfed myself though, although I plan to in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I auditioned for a part in a film and then got invited to London to meet the director along with 3 others. Unfortunately I didn't get the part but I can still say I got close.

I lived in Tenerife for 4 months after I finished college. Literally dropped everything and went. That is one of the best things I have done. I have recently at the time of writing done a similar thing and quit my job in London to go to Thailand for a month.

I saw my football team play at Wembley

Teach, Learn, Share

A couple of things:

I am a good cook and can cook a huge variety of different kinds of food.

Before I did design I did performing arts, so I know a fair bit about theatre.

If you want to improve your English language skills I would be more than happy to help. Maybe I could learn a bit of your language.

I have already said quite a bit on what I can share in the "How I Participate" section
