Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being spontaneous and openminded for my excursions in Europe!
ABOUT ME
I'm a 20 year old student from Boston, Massachusetts who enjoys spontaneity and all things fun. Currently I am a junior at Northwestern University in Chicago, and am double majoring in Animation and Film and minoring in Music. I am my most alive when slightly out of my own comfort zone, which is particularly why I enjoy traveling so much. I like to try everything once (which has dug me into a hole with this Czech food) and stay open-minded when it comes to new experiences. I have 5 stepsiblings ranging in age from thirteen to thirty-five, one 4-year old half sister, and a 22 year old brother, so I'm a pretty easy going person and prefer to be spontaneous rather than plan out every last detail. I love meeting new people, hearing their life stories, discovering their opinions on everything from philosophy to religion and politics, and basically learning about a city's culture from a local, intimate perspective. My hobbies include playing/singing/writing music (as well as listening to it) and drawing. I also love to read when a good book comes my way.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that life is short and that we should be proud of how we spend each day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm studying abroad in Prague right now and am loving every minute of it! I love learning about each country's history and how it affects its culture today. I enjoy meeting locals and finding the less touristy areas where people don't speak English (and the beer is cheaper, of course). My goal for this time period is to travel much of eastern Europe-on my to do list is Norway, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Croatia or Greece, Turkey, Austria, and perhaps Cairo.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couch surfed recently in Oslo, Norway, and had an incredible experience! I'm really looking forward to future couchsurfing :)
