Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined this platform to have cultural exchange, dialogue, and immersion. Not only hearing different perspectives in general, but also the various experiences of people in the same country, whether they were born there, moved there, etc. So, I'm seeking to live a more local/daily life, all while meeting people to further spark unique ideas or inspiration for life & writing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: RnB, Koro, varies etc.
- Solange, Sade, Sona Jobarteh, Teddy Afro, Tinariwen
- Vibe: calming, transportive or vivacious

Movies: I am notorious for falling asleep in movies, the ambiance is always too relaxing
- Sylvie's Love, Marcell the Shell With Shoes On, Spirited Away (I fell asleep lol), etc.
- Vibe: twists and turns, inspirational or emotional
- I want to get into Bollywood movies, I appreciate the musical sequences as they're gorgeous

TV: don't watch much tv, but recently reentered an anime phase
- Anime: Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, Food Wars
- Western Series: Jane the Virgin, Outlander, Bob's Burgers (animated)

Books: I really need to pick up reading again, I mostly find articles about random topics that come to my brain
- The Namesake, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Their Eyes Were Watching God, etc.
- Articles: The Conversation, Sapiens
- Vibe: suspenseful, reflective or journey driven
