About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a channel of blessings to others through sharing and listening. I like to explore all aspects of an area, including the historical, natural and cultural atttractions, as well as meeting the locals.
ABOUT ME
Since losing my fun job as a coin telephone money collector (think cell phones), my husband and I have embarked upon a life of travel and service. We lived in a motorhome for 13 years, making huge circuits with the seasons around North America. We have volunteered with the American Red Cross during disasters, serving in New York, Florida, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama. A few years ago we were caretakers on one of the world's longest natural sand spits in northern Washington. The US Dept. of Fish and Wildlife employed us to patrol the beach, which is a wildlife refuge. We also housesit and are always looking for opportunities to take care of critters and live close to nature. We look for opportunities to hike, mountain bike, swim and birdwatch. Now back in the USA, we'll focus on nature and begin to plan our trip to South Africa.
PHILOSOPHY
Let's leave this planet better than we found it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We were able to retire at ages 40 and 42 though we're not rich. We learned ways to make our income stretch and find pleasure in so many things that don't involve money. We are experts in the art of living rich without being so and are glad to share our knowledge with those interested.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Many people are fascinated with our housesitting/ camping/traveling lifestyle. We feel we are world nomads, with much to offer those who want advice about how to do this without a lot of money. At the very least, we have a lot of funny stories!
