About Me

I'm a single guy with a dog. Born and raised in the philippines. In 1999, I emigrated to chicago, USA. Lived there for 6 years 'til I felt the need for change, so I drove my small car across America for the very first time all the way to the Northwest. I've been living in seattle for 10 years since.

I am always known as the 'nice guy' in my circle. I don't know why but I dont consider myself nice at all. Haha.

I'm spontaneous and I love to travel. I wish I have all the luxury to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of staying at a stranger's house who most likely will become a long-term friend is very appealing to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Being a member and a soloist of a choir for 10 years, I was exposed to Classical, Opera, and Gospel Music. My life outside the choir, I loved listening to pop and rock. But when I moved to USA, I found myself listening to alot of R&B a hip hop. Here in seattle, I loved EDM dance music. But lately, I find myself listening to pop again.

Movies: Into the wild (My all time fave). I've watched it so many times.
My Best friend's wedding.
Any Action/Sci-Fi movies
Classic Karate/ Kung-Fu movies

Books: I read but not really if that make sense.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Countless. But there's this one thing I cannot forget.

During my trip in philippines last year, I met this young vendor kid who was selling flowers on the street. He was about 8-10 y/o. I was waiti g for a cab on the side of the road when he approached me and asked if I wanted to buy some of his flowers. I said yes and bought all of it and told him to go home. It was almost midnight and he was still working. He had a full smileon his face. Few minutes after he left, 6 more kids ran towards me and asked if I wanted to buy their flowers too. I did have some extra cash. Haha. I ended up giving all the flowers to the cab driver who was very happy to accept them too.
