About Me

I just finished university (at 27, was about time) and am taking one last gulp of freedom by Interrailing through Europe before entering adult life. Or not.

I love playing music, travelling, beer, handiwork, history, fixing stuff, building stuff, upcycling stuff, taking stuff apart, computers, watching educational videos, cooking, board games, comics, science, eating, LP's, Frisbee, and most other forms of procrastination that you can think of.

I have mild ADHD meaning I usually do most of the above at random intervals, often at the same time and with largely unpredictable results. My life doesn't have a huge amount of structure. On the plus side, I'm never bored :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing and learning cultures and languages from the inside and the outside.

Interests

I love music. I've been a pianist for 11 years, guitarist for about 3, I love playing all kinds of genres. Unfortunately can't play as much since I started studying.

I'm into computers and electronics, I love fiddling around and creating stuff from junk.
I like to think I'm good at repairing things, although my girlfriend says I'm better at taking them apart than putting them back together.

I also love getting lost! I do it all the time :-D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I love all of it, except for commercial pop and electronic music.

Movies: Everything by Studio Ghibli. Fight Club. Christopher Nolan movies.
Marvel stuff, I watched all the movies and series. I'm a bit embarrassed by that fact.
Also many Robin Williams films: Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Awakenings, Good Will Hunting.

I love Deadpool comics and comics in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept in a non-insulated-non-heated-minivan at 5.000 meters high in the Chilean desert, with -15°C and only my girlfriend and some blankets to keep me warm.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach music and fix your computer!
I also love doing handiwork so if there's a wall that needs painting, a garden that needs gardening or whatever you may think of, I'll be glad to help out.
