About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying the summertime!

ABOUT ME

I'm an active, outgoing and friendly guy and my great passion is DESIGN! Therefor I study Industrial Design (product design), at The Royal Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Feel free to visit my website, to view some of my works - http://www.keschdesign.com.
I also consume a lot of my time listening to music, attendning concerts and exploring new artist and genres. I see music as a huge and indispensable part of my life, and that it has an unique and universal power to gather and connect people. And to meet new people and establish a mutual, sincere and genuine connection is one of the things I enjoy the most - and I see CouchSurfing as a great opportunity achieve just that :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am very engaged and concerned with the nature and environment of our earth. And as much as I love the amazing diversity and beauty of nature, I'm greatly saddened to see where we are heading. I do believe we have a huge responsibility towards the earth and future generations - and the time to realize this and take action, is more urgent than ever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently living at my mother's place (saving up/going on exchange next semester), so I don't really have the option to host. I am planning to move to my own place when I come back from exchange next summer, and then my hosting situation will probably look better. Until then I'm more than open for a cup of coffee/drink somewhere in the city :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was back in 2009, on my first trip to London, I and my very good friend Signe stayed at Vikram - a friendly and welcoming guy from India, working (over) full time as doctor. It was really a positive experience, and we both enjoyed our stay, which was rounded of with a nice one day trip to Brighton together with Vikram - all in all great experience indeed!

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening to music is a big part of my life, and I love exploring and finding new enjoyable music:
Jamiroquai (my all-time favorite band!), Quantic, Alice Russell, Hidden Orchestra, Jimi Hendrix, Curtis Mayfield, Little Dragon, Joan Armatrading, Plej, Coldplay, The Strokes, Rage Against the Machine, Stevie Wonder, Natural Self, Hint, RJD2, W.A. Mozart, Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, Koop, Earth Wind and Fire, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Stan Getz, Franz Ferdinand, Funkadelic, Herbie Hancock........to mention a few :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My visit to the Mall of Dubai (World's largest mall) - quite a surreal experience, walking around in this gigantic mall, seeing this complete clash of western and middle eastern cultures. Lightly dressed posh'ly women, and fancy suited business men - mixed up with completely covered burka women and traditional suited sheik-looking men...quite a odd mash-up!

Another fun thing I've recently done is biking around London on a small foldable bicycle I borrowed from my hosts. It was quite a scary experience to start with driving in left lane and all, but it got with the flow of the traffic, and was soon finding myself cruising down Oxford Street, while the sidewalks was completely packed with people. Truly a great way to explore the city - but it's also no secret that I'm a big fan biking :)
