Hi, I am from South West England and I study anthropology and geography in Brighton at Sussex. When I am able to host I like to spend some time with travellers, but I am also happy to host people who just need somewhere to sleep.

I have great memories of travel so it means can continue this, and in a different way when I'm not travelling myself. As a system I think it encourages people to be more trusting of others, friendlier and happier. And it's nice to have good people in my house

I like to paint and draw, can do this with travellers and hosts if you feel like it
I enjoy cooking and would be glad to cook for travellers and hosts, and fun to learn about how others cook too!
I like working with plants and learning more about herbalism, foraging and growing good
In general I like to be outdoors as much as I can to take walks, do gardening, swim, read things like that

I tend to listen to a mixture of rock, blues, jazz, reggae, soul, funk
Some of my favourites are probably the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and a giaccometti portrait. I tend to read about art, nature, anthropology, philosophy but I like to swap books to read something different
