About Me

I lived in the same house for 18 years. Even though I traveled a lot with my family I wanted to move and discover other cultures. I moved to England to study right after high school and I did a year abroad in Seoul, South Korea. I am fascinated by Asian cultures especially Korean and Japanese culture. In Korea, I had my first adventure couchsurfing and I loooved it!
I am graduating soon and waiting for adulthood to hit me.
Always down for hearing other people's stories walking around a busy city, over coffee or a pint.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I mean honestly, people complain about the internet but how wonderful is it to meet strangers and feel at home for a few nights anywhere?

Interests

After a year in Korea I can say I have developed a certain interest for cafe crawling, art galleries, the UK taught me to love beer, veggie food and yoga and France to be open to hearing people's stories and reading a good book in a sunny outdoor cafe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to hate reading until my sister forced me to read Harry potter, I can't be thankful enough for her letting me find the pleasure of reading. I recently read 4 of Murakami's books and it's so great!
I love "lost in translation" ... because it takes place in Tokyo, "midnight in paris" and if I want to sob "Lion" is great

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a refugee camp in France

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to knit or play the violin! Maybe some European history. I'll very happily cook for you or bake.
My four grand-parents were born in four different countries so I can tell you about growing up in between cultures and never fitting in

What I Can Share with Hosts

my story, my previous travels and my eagerness to learn and my house ... when I'll have one

Belgium, China, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Tunisia, United States
