I am a graphic designer/writer, who uses art and travel to influence both my visual art and written work. I'm equally as comfortable in the heart of a crowded city or in the countryside; in a pair of stilettos or hiking boots; and any other similar comparison you can make.

About a week into 2017, I left for a European adventure! Have currently visited London, Rome, Venice, and Paris. Still don't have a ticket home yet - and don't plan on returning for a while still!

I'm super new to couchsurfing and am looking forward to hosting in the future. My family is currently in the middle of a move, so until we're all settled in, I will not be hosting anyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge fan of science fiction/fantasy, in books, movies, and television. I love reading young adult books, especially within that sci-fi/fantasy niche. Coming-of-age stories, tied in with saving the world, are always my favourite. Also, on the other end of the spectrum, Disney.

When it comes to music, I love musical theatre soundtracks. Unashamedly. But also acoustic rock, 90s pop, and a very small selection of today's top 40 stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to New York City for grad school in 2012! It was a little scary, moving to a different city - let alone a different country - but it was one of the coolest things I've ever done.
