About Me

I am a lover of nature, books, coffee and cats, who is always interested in learning and growing.🌱🌞
Strolling through deep forests, climbing mountains or simply gazing at the night sky full of stars is when I feel the most comfortable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying with locals makes a journey so much more interesting!
And its a great opportunity to learn, share and stay open minded.
After some super nice cs-experiences in New Zealand I would love to give something back and open my home for others when possible.

Interests

One of the things I like the most is being outside in mother nature. Hiking, biking, geocaching, swimming, jogging, Yoga... Last winter I discovered that you can have a great time in the boulder gym and my travel mate in New Zealand made me fall in love with slacklining (thanks John!).
When I'm not outside I like to read (well, you can do that in nature too :D ) or cook and bake.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like lots of different types of music. Rock, Reggae, Singer/Songwriter, Dubstep, Electronic, ... Depends on my current mood.
Lately I enjoy e. g. Mad Halleluja Tribe, Glass Animals, Chet Faker or José González.

Movies: My all time favorit movie is "Into the wild".

Books: When it comes to books I find it really hard to decide which one is my favorite. Maybe "The Hobbit" or the "Harry Potter" series.
I like Hermann Hesse a lot, especially his narratives about hiking and nature. When it comes to crime novels I enjoy authors like Karen Rose, Stephen King, Karin Slaughter, Cody McFadyen,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being alive I guess.

Lately: travelling through New Zealand on my own for three months!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to improve my slacklining and (Acro)Yoga skills, so if you're into that and could teach me something, that would be awesome!
Maybe I can share some nice recipes with you in exchange.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm getting quite good at making Apple Crumble ;-)

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Tunisia
