Overview
About Me
Hey everyone! I'm Lea, a 21-year old student whose passion lies within music, creativity and living a life that's least harmful to the planet and those around me. I love travelling and I've lived in Germany, France, Argentina and now Canada! I always try to connect my travels with something real, because I'm not only about all the tourist hotspots. While traveling I'm looking for real connections and people who enjoy showing me around or just stay at home to cook and chill. I personally love to cook, though it might be important to know that I prefer the vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Other than cooking I spend my time playing guitar, ukulele and piano and writing and singing my own songs. It's probably what I enjoy most in the world apart from connecting with people. I also love languages and am currently studying English and Spanish at the University of Heidelberg. That's a little bit about me :) I hope I get to share more when we eventually meet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only learned about couch surfing about a month ago. The idea of it all really speaks to me because the way I'm traveling fits it. I love solo traveling but in all honesty, I'm someone who needs human connection. Couchsurfing could be the way to connect both the need to venture out on my own but also knowing that I might find friends on the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is rather weird. I learn towards Musicals, Country, Pop, Rock and Punk Rock. On the other hand I really enjoy classical music and sometimes I lean towards the other side of the spectrum and listen to 70s, 80s or 90s classics. It's really hard to describe what I like!
My favourite Movie is such a hard one because I'm a bit of a movie and book nerd. I love the movie "The danish girl" and a German original production called "Alles Isy". Both deal with topics I'm interested and passionate about.
Books is another one, that's really hard to answer for me. I love a cheesy YA novel as much as a well fleshed out thriller. Being German though I am leaning towards old classical works by Goethe and Schiller. Animal Farm and To catch a mockingbird are classics as well!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have released an album with 13 self written songs and I was on German TV and radio for the release wich was fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
I play 3 Instruments (Guitar, Ukulele, Piano) and I am always happy to teach some of that! I'm also fluent and learning many languages and very passionate about that as well! So I'm always up for some difficult but fun conversations in languages I'm learning! :) Other than that I'd consider myself interested in the news and current world issues and I'm always here for open and respectful conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, so I would definitely cook a lot :) (preferably vegan or vegetarian). I also hope to share good conversation and if the host is open for it, a little jam session.
