About Me
Hello, I'm Lea.
I love to be outside and I'm always happy to meet new people.
I'm mostly not at home at the moment, so I unfortunetely can't host to often, but if I'm there I'm always open to host you. If I don't forget it I will try to remember to always change my Status so that you can immediately see if I'm hosting or not. If in doubt just send me a message :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn more about the countries I visit and get to know the people who live there. Therefor I hope to get to know some people through this platform.
Interests
I like to take photos and capture the moments I get to experience through my camera. I also enjoy being around animals and the nature in general. Bikepacking is a great way for me to experience the nature around me in a more slow approach to travelling. I also love to meet new people on my way.
One of my favourite things to do while visiting a new country is exploring a local market or supermarket (it's very important, that it's a local one, not one of the big ones that you find everywhere).
It is super interesting and I always find new interesting stuff to try, that I have never seen or tasted before. It's amazing and I highly recommend doing that. Another thing I'd like to do, is exploring more Queer Places/Bars/Clubs while travelling.
I also like plants, vegan food, small cafés, second hand shops, exploring in nature, walking through markets and homemade shelfs that look like they could colapse at any moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of very different music. For me I like it as long as I can move my body to it. I also like to explore new music so I'm mostly open for anything. I am more drown to the melody than the text, so I lften listen to songs in languages I don't understand. To me they sound absolutely beautiful and I can't get distracted by the text.
Going to a rather small concert for the first time was the most amazing thing I ever did. One of the best evenings I ever had. Danced my heart out and smiled all the way through.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling for 3 months. That was an absolutely awesome experience, especially because of all the nice people I met on my way.
Running a marathon
Teach, Learn, Share
There's always something new to learn out there. Isn't that amazing? Sometimes I'm a bit overwhelmed, because there are so many interesting topics and activities that I want to learn more about.
Some things I would like to learn more about:
-speeking Spanish
-writing
-running (running a marathon is a huge goal for me) 《did it! 🥳》
-plants
-repairing stuff on your own (especially Bikes)
As far as teaching goes, I can teach you a few basic German phrases if you wish or the basics of photography or some first aid skills :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting (and sometimes a bit crazy) travel stories.
I can also help you with chores if needed, that's no problem at all.
Since I live in a shared flat at home with two flatmates I'm used to sharing a space and know how to properly care for it :)
