About Me
You can easily write to me in English. Do not hesitate to ask me in case you have questions.
Vous pouvez naturellement aussi m'écrire en français. Si vous avez des questions, n'hésitez pas.
Ich spreche und schreibe gerne auf Deutsch. Immer her mit euren Fragen!
Hablo castellano, así que se puede escribir en español. Intentaré a responder a todas sus preguntas y dudas.
Well, to say the least, I love languages. If I was to choose a superpower I had, I think I'd love to know every existing language.
Currently, I'm doing my master's degree. I'm still struggling with the task of focussing in one project and giving up my social skills for a short period in time just to achieve better results though. Architecture students will know the struggle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
to keep learning, to meet people, to travel further, to learn languages, to practice them, to get to talk more, to exchange, to find out about the important things in life, to focus again on what I have and where to go to.
Music, Movies, and Books
-favourite music is depending on the mood. In general, I like all kinds of music, for example Blues, Jazz, Folk, African music, Electronic, Rock, but also down tempo and some DJs.
I particularly like progressive rock, soft woman voices and a talented singer/songwriter named Sophie Hunger.
-favourite movie is currently Victoria from german director Sebastian Schipper - the soundtrack from Nils Frahm is awesome as well. I found it was quite an impressive piece of work, as it is a movie shot in one single take. Apart from that, I loved Birdman, Atonement, Roma, Lalaland, Midnight in Paris, Precious, Persepolis, The great dictator, Trainspotting, Whiplash and many more.
-favourite book is difficult to define. I liked Palahniuk, I liked Kafka and also Kleist... There's so much more to read. Give me some more childhoods, some lifetimes and I'll tell you which book is my favourite. In the last year I finally managed to slowly get back to read more and also to creative writing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was younger, I was in a circus school. I did acrobatics there, but also had some clown acting classes. And when I say clown, don't necessarily think of me trying to bring you laughter, because I would most certainly do that by acting naturally... No, I mean: being a clown to me is about opening up to what the audience brings you. Or what reaction people on the street give you, or words old people associate with you by seeing you. I don't think of it as amazing though. I wish everybody could experience this. It fills me with joy and I hope to give some people relief with it.
Teach, Learn, Share
-I probably could teach you some Spanish, French, German if you'd like it. Also I'm a gourmet, I love cooking and baking, so I could teach you crèpes, pancakes, pimientos de padrón, risotto, soda bread, Linseneintopf and many more.
-always eager to learn other languages! I also would love to know how to dance salsa, tango, swing, rock'n'roll or flamenco.
-share tolerance and love. Ah and by the way: if you read the profile until now let me point out that with any request of stay you might want to include the words Vatican Cameos as smoothly as possible to be accepted. I'm proud of you, meticulous reader!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a pretty small bedroom and a living room I could share with you to stay in. As I'm a modest student, my living standards are quite basic.
