About Me

Currently doing a year of internships between Bachelor and Master to gain some experience in different fields of Nature Conservation. Until now research is my favourite! In-between doing some traveling and exploring Europe.

I love doing all sorts of sport- right now I set my heart on kayaking. Hiking and being in the nature is an all time favorite. I also love languages and and am happy to share what I learned as well as learn more from you.

I already met a lot of interesting people on couchsurfing and hoping to one day get the space to give that back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think seeing a city through the eyes of a local is the best way to explore new places! Also you can learn from each other- different ideas of life and culture. Which is incredibly important during these times of growing hate against other cultures and religions. And to be honest it is of course a cheaper way of travelling, which is perfect for me as a student.

Interests

I love being outside as much as I can: hiking, camping, cycling, kayaking... Currently I dance as sport, but I tried a lot during the years: aikido, ultimate frisbee, running, badminton and more. I am very interested in environmental issues and activism around these topics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading "Brave New World" from Aldous Huxeley. Always happy to share suggestions for good books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I (almost) visited the Dalai Lama. He was at our school in Hanover. Our teacher forbid us to go out at lesson to see him. Still not happy I listened. But anyway there was just a distance of maybe 100 meters between us!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to say "Eichhörnchen" (squirrell)
