Overview
About Me
I LOVE animals. My dad's a vet, so I grew up surrounded by lots of them. Currently I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses, 5 chickens and fish. When I was little, I even had a fawn for a while.
I attended a Secondary School of Economics and realized that I prefer learning languages. I love Spanish and Latin American music and culture and I would like to learn more about it. A couple of years ago I suddenly fell in love with the Russian language. So I decided to study Spanish and Russian in college :)
I have been practising a lot of things. In Elementary school I practised Latin American and Standard dances. I also tried zumba, belly dance, pole dance and I practised yoga for over a year (love it).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have met some of the best people in my life travelling and I believe that Couchsurfing can help me meet even more of them.
I wish to make friends abroad and learn from them about their different culture and lifestyle.
I believe that travellers are much more open-minded and acceptive and can teach you a lot of things, which is why I absolutely love talking to them. Fun fact, my boyfriend is a traveller from Mexico. :)
When it comes to exploring a new city, I also like to see it through the eyes of a local, and not just all the touristic places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like basically all kinds of music. A few years ago I mostly listened to rock and metal, but now I mostly listen to Russian and bachata music. I also listened to music in Portuguese, Romanian, French, Turkish, Arabic... and Spanish of course :)
I am very open-minded when it comes to accepting other cultures and religions.
I love to read, but unfortunately I don't have enough time lately. I read lots of novels. The ones I especially loved are Cally Taylor's "Heaven Can Wait" and "Love, Rosie" by Cecelia Ahern (FYI, the movie is shit compared to the book that I definitely recommend to read). I also like to read books about psychology and human relationships (for example "The Luck Factor" by Richard Wiseman and "The Definitive Book of Body Language" by Allan and Barbara Pease).
My goal is to start reading lots of books in foreign languages, so feel free to take me to an affordable book shop when I come to Spain.
When it comes to movies and TV series, I like to watch comedies and sitcoms the most.
Here's a great Russian bachata to make your day :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participated at the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Russia 2017
Currently volunteering in the Association for Promotion of Russian Language and Culture, teaching adults and children the basics of Russian Language
Met AIESEC volunteers in Zagreb, made friends with all of them and even travelled to the seaside with them
Went on a one-day trip to an island with almost no money and then lost the last boat back... Will tell you the rest when we meet :P
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you English, Spanish, Russian and, why not, a bit of Croatian.
Also the basics of belly dance, some latin dances and pole dance if you have a pole. :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
Friendship, a shoulder to cry on if necessary, and a great time! :)
Also, I will keep the room I'm staying in tidy and clean.
