About Me

Hi !

I am Léa, a french student who is living in Toulouse, France.
I love travelling, not in famous places but where landscapes can stop your breath and people can share you their culture and traditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet people and to learn from them. I think that everybody has something to share with others and something to learn from others.

I am looking for something more powerful than just spleeping somewhere, I am looking for a real experiment.

Interests

Sports, I am a runner (5/10 km) and member of a track and field club (France and Japan), hiking, dancing, swimming, riding are also sports I am practicing and loving.

Architecture and art, I love visiting museums and I am not afraid to lose my way in a city I don't know, only to discover secret streets and beautiful buildings.

Cooking, for me it is one of the most complete form of art because you can enjoy it with your eyes, your nose and your mouth.

Sciencies and technology, the power of science is something incredible for me and I really enjoy discovering new things and concepts everyday in my studies.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music, I think the day Joao Gilberto met Stan Getz was the beginning of the most incredible music in the world. But I like every kind of music, except metal and commercial jingles.

Yes Man, Peyton Reed. Easiest and best philosophy: optimism.

The Lion, Joseph Kessel. When you are reading it, you can smell the breath of the Lion, feel the savannah drought and hear the sounds of the animals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one month in an artist residence in Czech Republic to help for the renovation of a XVI century old castel. It was an european project so I met lot of people, coming from different countries. Moreover, I really discovered a passion for art and architecture.

I have also been a member of a french NGO (Secours populaire) to help people in France who are in the need. It was really powerful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am really fond of cooking and it would be for me an amazing experiment to share my knowledge about french cooking with people who want to try it.

Countries I’ve Visited
