About Me

22 years old, I'm taking a gap year to visit Northern and Central America. I'm a light traveler, easy going and an optimiste.
Movie buff, vegetarian, I prefer alternatives ways of life respectful of our environment.

Getting ready for a long-term travel around the world : next stop 👉California, then Texas and then Mexico !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to slow down my way of travelling by meeting locals and staying with them without lots of planifications, in exchange I'll be glad to speak with you about my culture, help you clean, take care of your pets or your children (I did some babysitting in France) :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to nearly everything with an overall of movie soundtrack and rock music. I love Queen and Lady Gaga, Eddie Verder and Alexandre Desplat.

My best book ever read is Wild by Cheryl Strayed (which inspired me to go on a solo trip btw and I'd love to do the PCT one day), as for my favourite writer I really recommend you Stephan Zweig. Everything he wrote is powerful, full of references, beautifully written and his short stories are always full of surprises.

Love a good old Hitchcock, a bizarre Burton and a complete fucked-up Tarantino. But I also love animated movies like Pixar or even independent one like The Breadwinner (on Netflix) which broke my heart but is beautiful.
Any recommendation for female directors/writers ?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wild camping in Ireland when I was 17yo and I had never done that before.
And hitchhiking alone.
