About Me

We are now living in our own place in the west part of France, enjoying being at one place at the time.

We have travelled around the World from 24th of December 2018 to christmas 2019 (the flight was cheaper). We have worked hard in New Caledonia for a year and half to organise this trip.As we studied for a long time in university (Lea studied Letters and Philosophy and Antoine studied Political Science and Philosophy) traveling means a lot for the both of us. After this abstract and theorical learning we wanted to see the world with our own eyes. For us, traveling is also a way for discovering and understanding this crazy world.
Most of all : We don't travel for knowing more about ourselves but for meeting you !
In summer 2020, we went from Bretagne to Marseille by bicycle ; we fell in love with cycling and we are looking forward to the next trip.

In a nutshell :

- Léa is attentive to people, has the memory of a computer, full of energy and always carries a book to read and a notebook to write.
She is good with geography, never get lost.

- Antoine is happy, scatterbrain and patient. He always carries a guitar and a sketchbook. He is good with socialisation, never affraid to ask.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We think that couchsurfing is an amazing community that makes the world a better place : Not everything has a cost !!

We can spend hours reading profiles... We are surprised by the diversity of the people here. Every couchsurfing place is unique. Sometimes you are twenty people sleeping on the flour, sometimes you have dinner with your new family.
- sleeping in a hut in Auroville
- being the extra children of an Indian mother in New Dehli
- teaching english in a Vietnamese language school
- non-stop cooking and partying in a multicultural flat of Phnom Penh
- and so on ...

Now we feel it's our turn to offer what we have !

Please do ONE, (or all if you want to) of this things if you want to be hosted :
- tell a joke
- tell a travel story
- send an ugly selfie
- tell us a funny detail about you

Interests

Lea is a good writer and she sews her own clothes, and Antoine is a gypsy guitar player and draws since he is 1.
Also we used to live on a island so we enjoyed it : windsurf, paddle, boat, va'a, diving, swimming...

Music, Movies, and Books

Oldies !
Mostly we listen to dead people music (from the 20's to the 80's).
Mostly we read books that were written more than 100 years ago.
Mostly we watch movies that are old enough to be in public domain.
We still feel young and we also like nowadays culture (litterature, music, movies). Paradoxically it is amazing to live today and have an easy access to everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Going from Saïgon to Hanoï by no-gears bicycles
- Travelling in Myanmar only by hitchiking
- Seeing 100 wild elephants during one afternoon in a quite respectful natural parc of Sri Lanka
- Going from Bretagne to Marseille go and back by bicycle only (4000km)
- We managed to impress a German once...
