Soy Lea y ahorita estudiando en la Ciudad de México en el Distrito Federal. Súper feliz de poder estar aquí y disfrutar de una de las ciudades más impresionantes que conozco hasta ahora. Cuando no estoy en la biblioteca leyendo todo lo que puedo encontrar sobre México o América Latina, viajo por el país. Eso ya me dio chance de conocer a gente linda y amable. Espero poder compartir historias, experiencias y esperanzas con tod@s que voy a concer aquí! Uno de mis sueños es visitar el Parque Nacional Iztaccíhuatl — Popocatépetl y poder ver ese sitio de naturaleza increíble. Si alguien me podría dar consejos o compartir su experiencia que me lleve más cerca a vivir uno de mis sueños, se lo agradecería un montón! Si alguien decida ser un Host para mí, por favor no hagan planes 24/7, soy muy autónoma y disfruto conocer sitios o ciudades sola. No soy muy complicada referente a esa cuestión!

I am Lea and at the moment studying in México City. I am more than happy to be here and to enjoy one of the most impressive cities I've seen so far. So, when I'm not in the library reading everything related to México and Latin America, I try to travel as much as I can to get to know those amazing people in this awesome country. I would love to hear and share stories, experiences and hopes with people! If you host me, you don't have to make plans 24/7, I am pretty autonomous and uncomplicated in that regard and also enjoy to explore places all by myself!

Music, Movies, and Books

Amo estar en la naturaleza y explorando nuevos lugares en bici, a pie o en patineta. Haciendo esto me encanta estar con gente o simplemente escuchar música. Por un lado, me apasiona visitar muesos, exhibiciones fotográficas o galerías de arte contemporáneo porque me hace sumergir en otro mundo y en cosas que quizás no entiendo a primera vista...también una oportunidad excelente para aprender algo y perderme por unas horas en algo realmente nuevo y único.

I like being outside and exploring new places by bike or with my longboard. While doing that I enjoy company or simply listening to music. On the other hand, I enjoy visiting museums, photo exhibitions or art gallerys because it makes me diving deeper into things I might not understand at first sight...also a wonderful opportunity to learn more and loose yourself for a couple of hours in something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

En una de mis últimas viajes me fui a hacer un tour con mi patineta en una isla pequeñita en Holanda que se llama "Schiermonnikoog". Allá me quedé de acampada entre dunas de arena en la playa. El cielo nocturno estuvo realmente increíble tanto como caminar por la playa el día después. Por eso, ya regresando, casi perdí el ferry! ;)

On one of my last trips I took a longboard tour on the small dutch island "Schiermonnikoog" and ended up camping between sand dunes on the beach. The night sky was amazing and wandering around the beach the next day as well. This is also why I almost missed the ferry then on my way back! ;)
