About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world

ABOUT ME

I'm passionate at whatever I love. I'm not scared of difficulties or impossibilities. I'm smart but I do silly things. I'm different. I'm special. I'm me.

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever I believe and have faith of doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had heared about this type of travelling since very early but never had the courage to try it. One day, my friend Henri told me that he surfed in several locals' couches during his trip in Europe. Suddenly I felt like doing it by myself. Why not?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled several times during my gap year. Finally, for the very last travel, it became true. I registered CS before my one-month Europe trip in May-Jun 2012. I sent an open request to surf in Paris first and received several invitations. Luckily my first host in Paris was a perfect start of my trip and we are friends now.

I sent requests and also received invitations during the whole trip. Even I travelled a lot previously, but chatting with locals definitely had much more fun.

Interests

Travelling is and will always be my passion. I don't like to make plans in advance. Instead, I prefer travelling spontaneously and meet people on the road.

In the end of 2011, I took part in my first 10km running event. In 2012, I began jogging and attend half marathons in several places and in Paris. Marathon makes me realize what I'm capable of, which used to be one of the mission that is definitely impossible to accomplish.

I started writing my blog since 2004 and kept posting travel articles especially from 2008. Sometimes I write for travel magazines and newspapers.

I got my Padi open water diving certificate in 2008. But I haven't dived again since 2010 in Phuket Thailand. I like diving but I'm a bad swimmer, how contradictory I am...

In 2019, I started a new hobby which is wine tasting. I passed the WSET Level 2 certification. Now wine tasting is a must-do on the list wherever i travel around the world.
