ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Leah, I am 20 years old, I lived my whole live in Germany, and now I spend one year here in Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda), Romania. Its an exciting thing living in a different country, in a different culture from my homecountry. In march 2011 I graduated school, and since august I do a voluntary service here in Transylvania. I work with children and with young disabled people.
I found out about Couchsurfing from a friend, Linda Beck.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard from Couchsurfing just a few weeks ago, from Linda, another volunteer here in Romania. We traveled together to Cluj Napoca, and there we spend a few days. We had a very nice Host, Arnold. He was very kind and we went out in the nights a lot. We had a lot fun with him and his friends, and we watched the view of the city by night from a little mountain. It was great! And we learned a few words in Romanian language :)

Interests

Ohh, I love love love arts and photography! My favourite photographers are Larry Clarke and Ziv Koren. Ziv Koren did an amazing reportage about the Conflict in Israel!
Other interests are watching movies, skiing ( but unfortunately Im not that good at it), yoga, reading a lot, meeting friends, traveling, swimming, laughing.
