I'm a social, positive woman. I enjoy meeting new people & learning about new cultures. I love to ask questions & be challenged. Each morning I wake up healthy, with food, clothes and a place to sleep. I feel fortunate & blessed.

PHILOSOPHY

You are shaped by experiences so sitting still and not enjoying life's opportunities is the worst thing a person can do. Ignorance breeds hate & fear so it is important to learn about the people & cultures around you. Defeat can become a reality of the mind if you allow it's existence...so don't. Life is beautiful!

MUSIC:...is a really elastic term...
I always hate answering this part because, as a musician, I could talk for hours on what I've been listening to, what I like/don't like & what I'd like to be exposed to. Music is my LIFE...literally, I will be making a career out of my love for music so, if you truly want to know, ask me & we'll have a huge conversation, I'm sure :D For starters, I am always prepared to listen to anything once...I have a very open-ear when it comes to tunes!

TELEVISION: The Office (US), Scooby Doo, Ugly Betty...not a big fan of the "TV" thing!

Whale-watching :) If you've never been, it's humbling & peaceful. Also, I sing & perform for people! So being on stage, to me, qualifies as an amazing thing I've done/am doing.

Texas lingo grows on you. Coming from a Californian (where the dialect is also very different), you won't realize until it's too late :) "Y'all" is an easy way to say everyone & "fixin''" is the lazy way to say you're going to do something.

I'd like to learn about any lingo, specific mannerisms (I should or should not do) & unique, exciting places to visit whenever I am traveling.
