About Me
***I AM NO LONGER LIVING IN CANADA! I MOVED TO AUSTRALIA IN 2010 AND WAS GRANTED PERMANENT RESIDENCY IN 2014. HOWEVER, IF YOU NEED TIPS ABOUT TORONTO, I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP. HAPPY SURFING!!!***
I love simplicity in every day life. Technology and I don't always get along and I am known to leave my phone behind when going for long walks.
I have been an accredited tour guide for Uluru (Ayers Rock) for two years and have never been more fulfilled with a paying job! Absolutely love giving cultural tours about the local Aboriginal group (the Anangu) and hiking around Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and King's Canyon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelers are just a different kinda people. It's an amazing community to be a part of and all my Hosts over the years have been phenomenal. I couldn't think of a better way to travel and learn about the world's different cultures. I haven't been able to Surf much in the last five years as I have been working hard to establish myself in Australia but I still keep in touch with Hosts I had ten years ago and am very much looking forward to show my partner Alex why I love this site.
Interests
I am excited by the simple things in life, such as: last-minute flight deals, outdoor concerts, a bottle of Shiraz or Grenache, the sky at dawn, baseball, nighttime drives, B-grade comedies, 80's movies, 90's alt-rock, and of COURSE surfing couches while exploring the world!
