About Me

I'm cis-femme queer lookin' to provide some safe space for traveling queers and feminists as they explore the world, and make some friends along the way!

I'm a Graduate Student studying how to support my love of the arts. I like dancing, poetry, soaking up the sunshine and walkin' other people's dogs for fun. I like dive bars and deep conversation, cabarets, drag shows and would pretty much always rather be on the ocean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Safe space is important to me, and so is building friendships with queers across the world! I don't have time a lot of time to travel right now, but I hope that soon when I do I will be be able to stay in a safe and comfy queer-friendly home

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know what classifies as "amazing" these days but unique things...

I spent 5 years doing sex-positive feminist minded burlesque and had some pretty incredible experiences. I've glued more rhinestones to my body than your average joe.

I also spent over a year hosting a monthly party in a nightclub called Lovesick which brought in lots of queer and inclusive DJs from around the country while I worked up a glittery sweat.

Now, I'm orchestrating poetry residencies and other cool programs in an art gallery, a tame but vibrant win for me

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make pasties, use a sewing machine, make a mean cocktail, cook a pretty good meal in under half an hour. I can also look over whatever you're writing and give you feedback!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to help around the house however I can. I'll put together your assemblable furniture (Ikea?) I can hang artwork on your walls, draw you a picture, do your makeup, walk your dog, feed your cat or something. It's a bridge that can be crossed when we get to it.
