About Me

I'm a digital nomad since 2011 and love to travel and meet people, experience different adventures and love water and road activities. I also like learning about other cultures, having great conversations and sharing of travel stories. I am a very positive and energetic person - just a funny ambivert trying to live an extraordinary life.

Pasig, Manila is home but a few times a year, I explore outside the country and chase the adrenaline rush - whether jet skiing in one of the nearby beaches or planning to visit another bungee jumping site or rappelling in the nearby park - I do like action in my life once in a while. I sometimes travel with friends, especially during summer but come the rainy days, I like winging it on my own and just meeting fellow travelers on the road.

I bring an old pillow with me everywhere I travel. I have a hard time sleeping in new places but the old pillow is a piece of home that makes me get my needed sleep even if I'm across the sea.

I am a girl with a mission when it comes to my traveling - it is always about the adventure sports. It used to be that I enjoy sightseeing but these days, its really more about what a place can offer when it comes to catering to the adrenaline rush - of course, next is the people and the food (especially coffee and tea ). I rarely go back to a place I have previously visited, it always feels that the world is just so big that all the time we have is never enough. I do my adventure activities in places as I know I will always treasure the memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to connect with fellow travelers, share travel tips and stories and have some really meaningful conversations with other people regardless of their background and travelling style.

I used to be a part of Couchsurfing community way back 2008 but had remained inactive due to a very busy schedule. Now, I am re-integrating myself to this community and hopefully will be hosted by or even simply meet and get together with some members in South East Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock alterative music, EDM, a bit of classical and jazz music as well as some grunge and heavy metal music

I am a big fan of classical literature, especially Dickens. I also collect Anne Rice books, Jeff Noon, Umberto Eco and J.R.R. Tolkien. I love these in audio books as well.

I watch many genres of films except horror and those gory, suspense ones. I like the feel good ones. One that stands out in my mind is the movie Limitless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off Macau Tower on my birthday -- heck, made me feel alive in spite of my fear of heights. So good, I'm doing it again in Pattaya, Nepal and New Zealand soon. The experience simply laid down the road map for my future travels.
