I am currently out exploring the world with my best friend on a world-trip!

I am a very easy going person.
I really enjoy learning (especially languages!)
I love to explore and learn about different cultures.
I like trying out new foods..but I definitely have my limits
I love kittens and pretty much any little animal on this planet
I'm from the Great North (Canada) but I don't love the cold. 3 months of winter is okay..anything more than that is a bit too long!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that in order to truly experience a country (or area) you should stay with with the locals! I love to see (and allow others to see) behind the tourist facade and I enjoy diving into the authentic world of the locals. I also love meeting people and sharing life, thoughts, passions and experiences.
I only just recently found out about couchsurfing and already I have been the recipient of such genuine kindness from the hosts that I have stayed with. I hope to be able to return the favour once I head home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can appreciate most types of music with a few exceptions. I most enjoy acoustic and live music.

Movies: I like movies that make me think and also movies that are based on a true story.

Books: The Bible, No Limits by John C. Maxwell, similar to movies - I like to read books about true events or people's personal experiences.

I was a gymnastics coach for 10 years so I can teach you how to do a cartwheel ;)
I enjoy conversation and I believe that every single person on this planet can learn something from every other person, no matter the age, status, race, religion, culture, etc. I love to hear peoples' life stories and to hear what makes them who they are today.
