My name is Leah Naomi. I am originally from Jerusalem, Israel, but lived most of my childhood/teen years in Philadelphia, PA. Currently, I am a masters student at the University of Pittsburgh. My passions include, food, music, dancing, literature, and LANGUAGES. I live to learn about new worldly perspectives :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is an awesome program! I got to know some couchsurfing participants when I was in DC last month, and it's an incredible community. Everybody was kind and welcoming.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to a variety of music -- it kind of depends on my mood and where I am in life. Currently I listen to a lot of reggaeton and pop music from Israel and the Arab world.

My favorite books include The Stranger by Camus, and anything by Kurt Vonnegut. Lately, I've been reading more non-fiction than fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became semi-fluent in Arabic within a year and a half!
