I'm 25 year old American looking to connect with locals when I travel! I finish my Peace Corps service in August 2019 and am looking to see more of the world before starting a career in January 2020. I love to meet new people, eat/cook, read and talk.

I'm hoping to find places to stay while I travel, I like the idea of staying with people that want to open their homes to a stranger - my favorite part about traveling is meeting people and the cross-cultural exchange. When I'm back from the Peace Corps, I'd hope to host people as well!

I'm an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction and am always open for suggestions! Currently reading Where the Crawdads Sing before taking on a Hemingway book. I've read everything from Anna Karenina, to non-fiction about Rwanda, to A Man Called Ove.

Music wise, I'm a bluegrass, Americana, folk girl at heart, but I'm open to most everything. I have a soft spot for African pop and Spanish music.
