About Me
New couch surfer here!!
I am currently studying abroad in Scotland at the University of Stirling and staying in a dorm here on campus, and while I'm over here, I want to travel as much as I humanly can while I'm here... pretty much the way everyone does lol. I'm a very clean, respectful, and friendly person, and pretty easy to remember considering I'm almost 6 feet tall. I love to read and play volleyball on the beach and just generally adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through this site, I'll be able to speak and live with locals, who know what to do and where to go and can provide wonderful insight into different cultures and just generally get a fuller experience than if I were to be alone in a foreign city
Interests
I love reading, primarily science fiction, mystery, horror, romance, fantasy, and young adult! I also love to eat and sleep, in true college kid fashion. I played volleyball throughout high school and will always join when the opportunity presents itself. I'm a nursing major back home, but I also love love love mythology and comparative religion--I find it fascinating.

Music, Movies, and Books
Blink 182 is my all time favorite band, but I can find something I like in every area. I love Death Cab for Cutie, Florence and the Machine, Frightened Rabbit, the old EPs of Imagine Dragons, The Story So Far, Bring Me The Horizon, Eli young Band, The Chainsmokers, Elton John, Marvin Gaye.... I have a wide variety of favorites! For books and authors, just off the top of my head, I love Richelle Mead, Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer Armentrout, Leigh Bardugo, Marissa Meyer, Ellen Hopkins, Mary E. Pearson, Josephine Angelini, and many more! I used to work at a bookstore so I'm lucky enough to have met a bunch of my favorite authors. As for movies, I love Star Wars (all things Harrison Ford honestly; he's a babe,) Parks and Recreation (GREATEST SHOW EVER,) HIMYM, That 70s Show, Supernatural, Stuck In Love, Good Will Hunting, the Terminators, Spongebob (don't judge I can't help it,) Avatar the Last Airbender, any and all Miyazaki films, all things Disney.... I could go on forever honestly but I'll keep it at that!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There isn't much I've done that I'd classify as amazing just yet... the first thing that popped into my head is that I fell up the stairs yesterday and cut and bruised my arm in front of a bunch of people. It was pretty embarrassing and impressive that I was able to fall so hard while walking up.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think I bring charisma and happiness to the table... I'd be more than willing to help clean around the house or head out for coffee (so I could hopefully absorb some insights from someone who's local!) With that, I tend to talk a lot so I'm sure it'd go both ways and you'd get a feel for my culture and experiences as well.
