About Me

Hi, I'm Leah! I'm really excited to join this community, as I believe it's one of the best ways for me to live out my believe in the kindness and generosity of people ❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people! I'm hoping to be able to meet people who can show me the good food and activities wherever I go, and extend my network of people across the globe!

Interests

I love eating and trying new things. I love music, especially discovering new loves. Live music is a passion. Reading, meeting new people and exploring all float my boat, but so does chilling out and doing nothing some days. I'm an extremely busy person, all the time. I always find something more to do! So I'm attempting to make my trips a place where I can take a moment to breathe.

Heavily family-oriented person, but strongly believe that blood is not what makes someone family. Have a constantly expanding family because of this 💕

I am a loud and talkative person! But am very much a people person, and get on well with most people, and haven't had any issues crossing language barriers! I have always found that a smile and being genuine are enough to get you through most interactions, regardless of the language spoken.

Too many to name

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I feel like there are so many amazing things! I'm incredibly lucky.

Ahh... I've actually accidentally organised 2 8-people group trips! I planned to leave, let my friends know, and then next thing I knew, 7 people were coming with!

One domestic one after finishing high school, 8 girls off to Wellington. Fun time touring our capital!

The other was a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia a few months ago! (different group of people). One plane catching fire, and 2 weeks of incredible memories later, I wouldn't trade it for anything ❤️ but am ready to give solo travel a go!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up for learning new things!

I am an environmental engineering student, so would be happy to go through whatever I know with others who are interested! Would especially like to learn more in this area as well!

I have an absolutely incredible network of people surrounding me, and would love to share them with people visiting wherever possible ❤️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an average cook, but love doing it. Same goes for baking. Also, will happily accompany you out to try whatever weird food place you've been trying to find a foodie partner for.
