Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Leah Rosenbaum, and I am a 22-year old woman from San Francisco, California. I believe that one of the greatest pleasures in life is traveling the world, not only to visit monuments and check things off a "bucket list," but to learn about different cultures and ideas. I love to immerse myself in new cultures and learn their languages, customs, and traditions. I've done a fair amount of traveling already, but I'm hoping to do one last big trip before I begin graduate school this fall, where I will be studying Public Health. I love dogs, outdoor adventures and hikes, gin, music, and making new friends around the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't want to stay in a hotel and spend my trip doing all the "tourist" things; of course I'd like to see some museums and monuments, but more than that I want to see real life in the country I'm visiting. I want to know what the locals do daily, what their likes and dislikes are, and what it would be like to actually live in that place. I'd also like to forge real life-long friendships and connections with people who share my love of adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music:
-I like a lot of different types of music, from Yiruma to Die Antwoord. I particularly like American rap music and folk music. My tastes are pretty eclectic!
Favorite Movies:
-I mainly like action movies and animated movies; my two favorite movies are X-Men and How to Train Your Dragon.
Favorite Books:
-This is the hardest one! I love reading and am almost constantly reading a book. I'm very into nonfiction right now, and my favorite nonfiction book is "Into Thin Air". I also really enjoy English literature including Jane Austen and Virginia Woolf. However my all-time favorite book is the best-selling literary classic, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." It has love, magic, mystery, death, action, and dragons--what's not to love?!?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving with my mother for my 16th birthday!
