Overview
About Me
I'm new to Couchsurfing, but a seasoned traveler. I tend to keep to myself until I find people I get to know, then I love a chat!
I love outdoorsy things like hiking, but also love exploring a city or the suburbs, and I especially look for opportunities to learn about new cultures and languages. I'm vegan but I take care of myself and it doesn't change the way I do things, although I'm always keen to connect with other vegos :)
Always looking forward to my next adventure, I hope you can be a part of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Knowing there is at least one friendly face you can have in a city makes solo travel so much less lonely. I don't travel to see landmarks or tick things off a list, I like to know what its like to live in that country, and I'm hoping that couchsurfing will give me that opportunity.
Interests
I've thrown myself into my psychology studies and am on a few gap years before I start my clinical PhD, so I love talking about anything to do with human behaviour, and particularly social psychology and social action. The theme of everything I do is compassion, so my interests tie in with making the world a better place and not being a hypocrite by contradicting my ethics. Having said that, I am very chill and make it a point to be open minded with whoever I speak to. Above anything else, I love a good conversation and am constantly ready to learn more :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a massive book nerd after working in a library for the past 6 years. A lot of classics I find a bit pretentious, but I love reading autobiographies, fiction that takes me by surprise, and dystopian novels. Music and movies I'm a bit basic, usually if I'm watching something I want something easy to watch (and not scary because I'm a wuss), but it means that I'm pretty much open to anything
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make amazing vegan food out of random pantry staples, and I blurt out random mildly interesting facts every now and then
