Overview
About Me
I'm a warm, friendly person who loves travel, wellness, healthy food, dance, exploring in nature and community. I have a zest for life, a big heart and love getting to know all different kinds of people. I've been involved in environmental justice work and am now helping lead a yoga retreats company, where I get to apply myself as a planner, care-taker and adventure. I live in a co-op in Berkeley so I enjoy sharing good food and have experience living with a variety of people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been interested in it for a long time and the right moment has opened up for me to start! I love hosting people at my home and showing them my favorite spots in the Bay.
Interests
In a down-to-earth way, I'm a big foodie and love checking out healthy, creative exciting restaurants or spending time cooking at home. I'm also a novice herbalist and play around with making my own salves, tinctures, and tea blends. Staying active is important to me and I consider myself a student of many forms of movement, so I dance, do acro yoga, hike, rock climb (mostly indoors but some outdoors) and do yoga regularly. I'm always happy to jam with other acro yogis! I also try and spend as much time in nature - I once decided I wanted to spend at least 50% of my life outside and realized I'd stick with 50% of my life *awake* to make it more reachable. So I'm always happy to be in fresh air. I'm also in massage training, Swedish and Thai mostly, and am a big fan of hot springs/places to soak wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently in a long phase of loving folk music (MaMuse), but am moved by all beats. I especially love African music, some kirtan, and some classics like James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, and more. My favorite author for a long time has been Tom Robbins.
