About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer." R.M. Rilke

ABOUT ME

Formerly employed as an English teacher in South America / South Korea / Portugal before getting a Master's in Heidelberg, Germany. Spent time traveling (sweating) around Southeast Asia and India, and later traveling (freezing) around Europe. Most recently completed a year-long teaching fellowship in Indonesia, where I learned how to fall asleep on the back of a motorbike. Now back in the US, trying to set down some roots.

I like cats, snacks, puns and television. My goal in life is to hug the Dalai Lama (or at least share a meaningful glance).

* Ummm I'm actually not currently in Germany. Just absolutely clueless about how to change that on my profile.

PHILOSOPHY

Opening your heart and being courageous and telling people that you care about them or like them or that you think they're special only makes you a better, bigger, kinder, softer, more loving person and only attracts more love in your life.
- Amy Poehler

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
