About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live without regrets and follow my heart wherever it may lead me.
ABOUT ME
The most basic summary of me is that I travel in order to see how big the world is, rock climb to feel how small I am compared to it, and to keep a camera in hand in order to document the whole process. Also, there are very few times that you'll catch me without a smile on my face.I know that the world needs more love than it receives and I try to help that cause as much as possible. "My country is the world, all men are my brethren and my religion is to do good." -Thomas Paine
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is that the world needs to do a better job of searching out the good in people---CS does a great job of this. I'm very much so a "glass half-full" kind of person; I always find a reason to smile in some of the worst circumstances.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to manifest the glory that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."
Marianne Williamson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hold a huge place in my heart for the CouchSurfing community. Whether I'm hosting or being hosted, I have met fantastic CouchSurfers, who in one way or another have changed my perspective on life at least a little bit for the better. I pass the word around about CS to friends who I know would love the experience as much as I have.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted by a couple handfuls of wonderful people in the U.K., Ireland, Moab, UT, Kansas City, MO & Toronto, ON and I have hosted an abundance of great CSers back home in Nashville. I also lived in Denver for a summer and can't even begin to express how grateful I am for the CouchSurfers there opening up their arms to me; they definitely made my summer.
I have nothing but love for CouchSurfers and the CouchSurfing community. So much so that I've started to run out of ways to say how great people have been on CS references!
Interests
I start going through withdrawls if I don't see live music at least once every couple weeks. I love to watch old movies (I'm currently addicted to any movie filmed in the 1950's), mail postcards, bake and rock climb.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Nashville is known for its music and as such, a lot of my friends' bands are my favorite. To name a few; One Big Owl, Stephen Gordon, Light Pilot & The Thank You Ma'am's.
Bigger bands include Radiohead, Mumford & Sons, Emíliana Torrini, Jónsi, The Hood Internet, GirlTalk, Volcano Chair, ...
I could list ALL of my favorite bands, or you could just couchsurf with me and raid my music library. :D
Movies: Bunny & The Bull and Amélie. These films shows how easy it is to live a good life by appreciating all of the small things. Currently Reading: On The Road by Jack Keouac, Zen & The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig; & The Art of Loving, Erich Fromm I have this weird way of reading books, in that I will never finish one without starting at least two more. I understand books more when I have multiple plot lines running through my mind.
