ABOUT ME

I'm a happy and positive person and try to live life to the fullest. I love life, meeting new people and learning new things, especially through experiencing other cultures and ways of life. I just started travelling last year and my first big trip was to come to Germany for a year as an au pair. It's been a great year so far, I've made some lifelong friends and have travelled to many places I'd only dreamed about prior to this. I though I loved travel before I came here, but now I've realised it's much more than that to me, it's a burning passion for me. I have such a sense of freedom when I'm travelling and I love that feeling. I hope to do a lot more travel in future and visit many, many places around the world´(which is a lot, my list keeps growing!). I'm really just starting to realise how small the world actually is... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only became aware of couchsurfing when I embarked on my year abroad in Europe. I wish I'd known about it earlier! I think it's a great way of meeting new people and learning new things from their experiences, while also discovering new places and having fun while doing so! I have actually only couchsurfed a few times, but have had positive experiences. I've met fantastic people and had great experiences in places I've visited. I've also made some great friends due to couchsurfing meetups and such. I want to do much more couchsurfing here in Europe (and anywhere else I end up) and I want to host one day (obviously, I can't now, as I'm living with a host family, but when I get home to Oz, my couch will be available!)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Love music. LOVE it. Love many different styles and artists. My music collection has expanded massively since coming to Germany. If I had to average it out in one genre, I'd say alternative. Eg: muse, arcade fire, radiohead, death cab, margot and the nuclear so and so's, the editors, placebo, the shins, modest mouse, athlete, belle and sebastian, die ärzte, peter bjorn and john and many more..

Love movies, very nice and relaxing watching a dvd sometimes.

I love to read too. I don't read as much as I'd like to though. I enjoy reading a good book while it's raining :)
