Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing. I was very active in 2011, 2012 and am getting back in to Couch Surfing now that I have my new home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a great time hosting folks from around the US and a couple of countries.

I surfed from WV to WA in 2010 - my friend Heather and I stayed with some great hosts and really enjoyed driving into different neighborhoods and getting to know folks.

I have had mostly positive experiences & find communication makes for a great stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I fell and scraped my elbow on the equator near Quito, Ecuador.

I started a women's cooperative with some awesome folks after our inspirational trip to Oaxaca, Mexico where we studied the role of women in the Zapatista movement.
