ABOUT ME

Hello all!

I'm a recent university graduate and I'm excited to finally get out from behind the books and explore what's out there. Not only am I completely new to this amazing world that is couchsurfing, I'm completely new when it comes to travelling as well. I'm headed to Europe for the summer to travel around for about a month, and the plane ride there will only be my 3nd trip on a plane ever and my first ever trip overseas.

I've always been fascinated by other cultures; what makes us different, our similarities and the things that connect us all together. This combined with my lack of worldy explortations fuelled my desire to study anthropology, which is what I ended up majoring in. I now feel that the time has come to stop reading about these other places and people and starting meeting them. I can't wait!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm brand new to this, I am just hoping that the couchsurfing community will embrace me enough to help me on my journey. While I don't have a place right now to host fellow couchsurfers, you can be certain that when I do my door will be wide open so that I may reciprocate the generosity.

I love learning about other cultures; food, music, stories and history.

I like most sports but I'm a huuuuge hockey fan (go canucks go!) and you can be sure I will try and convert you into one. I'm a big animal lover! My dogs and cats are probably my favourite things in the world. One day I want to have a big farm with all different types of animals.

I also love hiking, camping, baking, being near the ocean and chocolate. I'm also probably one of the few people you will meet that LIKES doing dishes and laundry.

There's way to many things that I love that it would be impossible to make a list. I can't say that I really hate any music, movies or books I've read. Not only am I indecisive, I feel like there's something to be appreciated and learned in all forms of art.

I also like suggestions too...if there's a band that you like, or a book that you've read, I would love to know.
