Overview
About Me
An aspiring graphics designer with a deep passion for seeing the world. I've lived in Pensacola, a small beach town, my whole life so I have naturally developed a need to get out! While I don't want to move away completely, I do want to see the world.
A few fun facts about myself:
- I live in a small town where most of its population has been born & raised.
- In the city, I reside in the historic downtown district above a gay bar. There's never a dull moment and I never need to worry about drinking and driving!
- I spend way too much time watching animal videos on Facebook.
- My favorite food is pizza (obviously) & anything crab.
- I have an orange tabby cat who is currently staying with my parents. I miss him dearly!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Recently I've been going through the "finding myself" sages of life, and I believe that connecting with people and seeing the world is a great way to go about this journey. I love the idea of staying with locals because that's the only way to get true, genuine experiences. I live in a semi-tourist beach town so I'm constantly showing visitors the local spots in order for them to get the best out of their time here.
Interests
-I work as a make up artist at Clinique.
-Listening to live music, whether it's at a concert or just a couple of friends having a little jam sash, is how I would prefer to spend my evenings 'out'.
-In my free time I strive to be creative and design things (my sketch book has become my best friend over the years).

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to literally any & every kind of music. Some of my favorite bands include:
- Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Ben Howard, The Strokes, The 1975, Mumford & Sons, Bombay Bicycle Club, City & Colour, Washed Out, The Story So Far, Tigers Jaw, and so many more!
My favorite movies would have to be any of the funny ones because I love to laugh. In particular, The Campaign, The Ringer, Step Brothers, Talladega Nights, etc. I also like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and StarWars of course!
I don't have much time to read but when I do, I have enjoyed "Big Magic" by Elizabeth Gilbert, and any Fitzgerald books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in high school my Marine Science group took a road trip down to the Florida Key's. On our way down we stopped in Miami and met with Eugenia Clark or "the shark lady" who has discovered so much of what we know today about sharks. She invited us into her home where we were able to ask her questions and have discussions about her experiences before she recently passed away. That whole trip and being able to meet with someone so extraordinary was absolutely amazing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have experiences, relationships, and positivity to offer. What's the meaning of this life if we aren't able to connect with one another?
