About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To connect with people around the world, learn from new people and new experiences, to become more patient, adventurous, creative and open, to grow.

My husband and I have taken the year off, creating an extended honeymoon that has taken us on a road trip from Seattle to Austin and then to Colombia. We're heading to Central Europe in January then to Spain for the Camino de Santiago. It's shaping up to be a pretty amazing year so far.

ABOUT ME

Artist, teacher, life long learner.

PHILOSOPHY

"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My husband and I are new to the community and are so excited to get started. We're traveling a lot this year and hope that through couch surfing we'll be able to make lasting connections to people around the world and to see another side of the cities we'll be passing through.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a teacher that would love to share ideas about how we can create more loving, nurturing classrooms. Since I speak English, I'm happy to do what I can to help others learn my language. I'm open to learning pretty much anything from anyone, but as someone who tries to draw, I would love to learn tips on creating new art. I also like the idea of learning new things together - it's always easier to try something new when you have other people around to support you.
