About Me
CURRENT MISSION
It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.
ABOUT ME
I'm a student traveller, visiting places I've always wanted to. I'm a little bit of a mix of everything-from serious to silly, from cool to geeky, but I'm pretty easy going all the time. I'm open-minded and enjoy new experiences and meeting new people. I also like good and deep conversations over hot tea or cold beer.
PHILOSOPHY
Smiling's my favorite.
Life should be about finding what you love and following that dream. Our goals shouldn't be how to make a difference in the world, but how to make the world different. I search for people who make me feel like I'm the best me I can be when I'm with them and learn from them. I believe that kindness rids us of hate, and even when kindness takes a bit more energy, it's worth it in the end.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch surf to meet people and get a better experience of a location than is offered by a hostel or a hotel. Real people in a real place. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always on the prowl for new music and books. So if we meet, I'd love to hear your favorites. Currently, my favorite book is "The Art of Racing in the Rain," my favorite album is tied between "Forget and Not Slow Down" by Relient K and "Brushfire Fairytales" by Jack Johnson, and my favorite movie...eek. I have a lot of favorite movies, but my go-to movie for any given day would have to be "The Princess Bride."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This won't sound amazing, but I went on a road trip with my brother around the mid-west of the USA. Not the most thrilling location, but I learned so much about my brother that week and how totally awesome he is and a lot about myself as well. It was an amazing experience.
I have also seen the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival launch from the launch pad. Seeing 500 balloons take off at the same time at sunrise...beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a book for useless knowledge. I absorb information like a sponge...especially if it really has no meaning. I can shoot archery, kind of rock climb, work with clay, and discuss hospitality practices all day.
