About Me

I’m Leah, I just moved to Hiroshima, Japan to teach English. I’m into cooking, hiking, standing on my hands, making things, playing things, listening to things, being social and awkward, learning and reading too much into everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As someone who appreciates traveling for the sake of creating connections with others and seeing how they live, I welcome surfers to stay in my space and hope that I can surf some couches on my future travels.

Interests

I really enjoy illustration and art, cosplay and anime, hula hooping, playing with animals, going on hikes, dancing, learning to be a better human.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly listen to soundtracks and youtube c H i L l W a V e these days. Also enjoy shoegaze, hip hop, dream pop, folky stuff, weird stuff.

I will watch anything, mostly. Love sci-fi, horror, independent films, cult classics. I love the Coen brothers and cartoons.

Reading the Handmaids Tale now, recently started reading Haruki Murakami. Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, anything by Terry Pratchett is usually good.
