About Me
I'm currently on my second year working as an organic veggie farmer in Boulder, Colorado and am figuring out what to do next after the current growing season.
I'm from Alabama and have traveled and lived abroad for about five years. I spent two years teaching English in Madrid and one year-ish in Paris working as an au pair. I've also lived in Berlin, Germany while studying a Master in Intercultural Conflict Management. I wrote my Master's thesis on food security and urban agriculture, leading me to learning the practical side of sustainable farming and food access.
I've traveled a lot outside of the US, but have lots of places to see within the country now. Within the US, I've only lived in Alabama and Colorado, so I'm thinking about finding a new place (within the States) to call home soon.
I love trying all the local craft beer, eating all the food, hiking, camping, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
