About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, gain new perspectives, and see the world!

ABOUT ME

I'm a college student. I love going on adventures and exploring new places. I like doing goofy things like making forts out of cardboard boxes and sheets and then drinking and playing cards inside. I play guitar but don't have the patience to actually become good at it.
I want to see the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Do your own thing and let other people do theirs. I think we all need to try harder to get along, to focus on the good things in people, and to be slower to judge and blame and label.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to do some surfing this summer on a road trip out west.

Here in Buffalo, I'm free to chat over coffee or show you around the city. Once I get my own place I'd love to host, but I currently have roommates who aren't into the idea.

Interests

Travel, music, books, philosophy, horseback riding, hiking, wine and beer, tea, dance parties, bicycling, nature adventures, swimming, jumping off things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Slaughterhouse-Five, The Bell Jar, Fight Club and Harry Potter. Haruki Murakami's books. I really like books that introduce some kind of new knowledge or that make you think and completely change your outlook or that make you feel different for days after reading them.

Music: Classic rock, folk, a little indie. Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Modest Mouse

Movies: Pirate Radio, A Knight's Tale, Pulp Fiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Australia when I was three years old!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm hardly a great guitar player (my greatest accomplishments are learning to play Norwegian Wood and Wish You Were Here) but I can teach you some basic chords and songs.

I want to learn different languages and would LOVE travel tips.

Countries I’ve Visited
