About Me
I'm just a solo traveler enjoying the beauty every day brings while exploring new places and meeting new people. I crave new experiences and seeing new ways of living. I love laughing, smiling, being active outdoors, practicing yoga, singing and beaching :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only couchsurfed and hosted (unofficially) a few times, but I'm so excited about the opportunity to travel in a different way while also meeting locals of the places I'm visiting. It's a beautiful thing to open your home up to people, and wonderful to be able to connect with perfect strangers in that way.
Staying with locals is the best way to experience a new place because you get to see and enjoy things you likely wouldn't have on your own.
When my friends and I host couchsurfers, we have so much fun taking them to all our favorite spots that are off the beaten path, and I'd love to have that same experience when in a new spot!

Music, Movies, and Books
Any kind of music that makes you feel good, makes you wanna move, and makes you inspired
I've learned that I'm actually a really bad movie person...oops!
Lately I've been reading non-fiction books about anything that interests me at the time...in my backpack I've currently got The Book by Alan Watts, Warrior of the Light by Paulo Coelho, Women Who Run with the Wolves, and all my handy dandy yoga books :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked on a dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef and spent my nights on top of the helipad, stargazing and feeling like the kid from Life of Pi (without the tiger, of course)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching yoga, meditation and also how to cook a mean vegetarian meal!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my happiness, my smile and lots of wild stories from my adventures thus far. I am also a certified yoga teacher, so I can teach vinyasa and hatha to all levels! I can also provide good conversation, as sharing insights and stories with strangers is one of my favorite pastimes. After all, that doesn't seem to happen much anymore these days, does it?
