Hello! I'm Leah, an energetic, curious, creative Vermonter out to learn about how other people live, walk lots, and appreciate other places. I'm 23, and I've lived in Peru, travelled to Europe, and lived and studied in Veracruz, Mexico, and I'm now finishing up my degree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From my experience traveling, the most meaningful moments have always been when I've spent time with people native to the place I'm visiting. I love the exchange of ideas and the opportunity to see a place from someone else's eyes. I think couch surfing enables us to have that exchange.

De mi experiencia viajando, las experiencias más significativas para mi siempre han sido cuando pasé tiempo con gente nativa al lugar donde estuve. Hay una gran potencial de intercambiar idea y ver un lugar de otra perspectiva y creo que couch surfing nos ayuda con ese intercambio.

Interests

My favorite moments are meeting strangers and hearing stories and sharing time with people who are from different experiences. curiosity runs in my blood- when I'm not off jogging or hiking, I love to paint and I'm currently learning to play the Jarana :)

Mis momentos favoritos son conociendo a la gente y compartiendo tiempo con gente de lugares diferentes. Mi carrera es estudios mundiales, y entonces mi curiosidad en infinito! Cuando no estoy corriendo o saliendo para caminar, me encuentras pintando o aprendiendo la jarana :)

I hiked 500 miles across Spain and I run my own art camp for kids.

I love art experimentation. Always up for a hike or a jog! I also like to cook!
