Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore cultures, communities and natural areas.
ABOUT ME
I'm a singer-songwriter and musician. When I'm not working on my own music, I am playing music for kids aged 2-11. I also teach yoga to kids aged 2-5. I enjoy good books, wine, cooking and being active. In the summer, I make it a habit to swim in the lake every morning. In the winter, I wrap myself into ski goggles, polar fleece and down, and I take walks no matter how cold it gets.
PHILOSOPHY
The only thing that is constant is change. I try to enjoy moments, knowing they won't last forever. They never do.
You have to fail to succeed. And, if you keep at something, you will eventually succeed.
Always do your best. Then you'll never regret anything you did.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just getting started with couchsurfing. I've been a member of the site for a few years, but I haven't used it... yet. I hope to participate by connecting with travelers who visit Chicago. I'm happy to show you around town. Unfortunately, I can't host at this time, though, because I'm living with my parents.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I've slept on many a couch in many a country, I have limited couch-surfing experience through this website. I'm looking forward to connecting with new folks that I might not otherwise get to meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Nick Drake, Simon and Garfunkel, Linda Perhacs, The Indigo Girls, old time finger-picking blues, great female jazz singers like Nina Simone, bossa nova and samba, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tune-Yards, Kids... and, on the flip side, groups like Daft Punk, Justice, Phantogram and Toro y Moi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done was to wake up on Mount Sinai to hundreds of people singing hymns to the sunrise.
Teach, Learn, Share
Music and cooking! I am happy to play tunes on the guitar anytime. I'm also a great cook. I'm also happy to show you around town if you are in Chicago.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll help you cook meals, provide guitar ambience and keep the place clean.
