ABOUT ME

Right now my life fits me perfectly. I have wonderful friends and a great home, I am learning such interesting and amazing things at University, and I feel great!
I've traveled quite a bit in the past few years, and plan on doing a lot more, probably until I can't physically do it.
I love music and I'm always interested in learning about new stuff and sharing what I enjoy. I play a bit of guitar, and love to jam.
I believe in good energy and have a lot of faith in people... there is still a whole lot of good in this world, and I think we forget that far too often.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to share what I love in life. There's nothing sweeter than shared experience... it's more than just doing the same thing, or having a sip or a toke, it's learning a little bit about yourself, the other person and the world.
I try to never limit positive energy. Even with something as simple as telling a stranger that I like their coat instead of not saying anything. I think society has us second guessing ourselves and stifling expressions of love and positivity because it might be considered socially improper.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed through Europe in 2009, which was AMAZING! Since then I've not been in a position to host, but now I am and I'm super excited to share my city with some lovely people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2009 I was a couch surfer and had some absolutely amazing hosts. I honestly did not have one bad surfing experience! I want to make that happen for other people now!

Everything that I love involves learning, but I'm coming to realize that life is learning, there's not much to it after you let your mind stop growing.
More specifically, I enjoy music, good (and a few bad) movies, books that feel like brain candy and that you fantasize about when you're apart, guitar, longboarding, going on long rambling walks, sitting in parks, telling stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While couch surfing in Berlin I decided to stay an extra day and it turned out to be the best day ever! We started the day with a vegan brunch which was outstanding, and then went to Mauerpark to chill for the day and enjoyed quite a bit of sunshine and live music, then we went to the couch surfing volunteer project and had a big cuddle party while we watched a Monty Python movie on a projection screen. I think we ended the night there. It was just an amazing day with no schedule and not a care in the world. Ahhh I miss it just thinking about it.
